Welcome AWHONN members and prospective members,

As we begin this New Year, the MA AWHONN coordinating team would like to welcome everyone and wish you a prosperous New Year. Our mission is to improve and promote the health of women and newborns and to strengthen the nursing profession through the delivery of superior advocacy, research, education and other professional and clinical resources to nurses and other health care professionals.

Please check the Massachusetts AWHONN website for what’s happening here and in nearby sections. We have exciting new programs and networking plans for this year. I encourage any of you who are thinking of joining AWHONN or would like to participate at a leadership level to take that next step and talk to one of us. You will not regret it for one minute. I am confident that the Mass Section will continue to grow and make meaningful contributions to education and evidence based practice for nurses who care for women and newborns.

As the MA section chair, I would like to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to email me at .

Thank you for your dedication to the women and newborns of our state and beyond.
