The Massachusetts Section of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (MA AWHONN), is currently 670 members strong and growing.  The mission of the MA AWHONN section is to further AWHONN’s central purpose to promote excellence in nursing practice, education and research in the women’s health, obstetric and neonatal health care field, so as to improve the health and health care of women and newborns.

We accomplish our mission of supporting nurses who care for women and newborns by focusing on 4 key areas:

  1. Continuing education programs that promote the latest in evidence based practice
  2. Research
  3. Legislative advocacy
  4. Networking
